The Use of Methods of the Project management in Company

The content of bachelor thesis is the use of project management tools and PRINCE2 methodology in practice. The main goal is to create a project plan for the implementation of a new tool designed to collect feedback data from customers in a particular company. At the beginning of the thesis, basic concepts such as project, project management, project life cycle or PRINCE2 methodology are described. The second part is focused on the analysis of the current state of the company with its summary in the SWOT analysis. In the last part, a project proposal with the application of the PRINCE2 methodology and its structure tailored to the environment and the needs of the company is compiled.
JIRA Plug-In for Automatic Ticket Assigning

This work is aimed on creating plug-in module for the system Atlassian JIRA. The module was developed based on the requirements of real company and provided as a project corresponding with business processes. The main objective was to extend the functionality of used system and to design project delivery process modifications for projects of similar type.
Supporting Tool for Vocational Qualification Verification

This master's thesis deals with the specification, design and implementation of a supporting tool for vocational qualification verification. At the beginning the project management is described in terms of the international standards and certifications. Then the requirements for the developed system are specified, the design of the system is created and the implementation of the prototype is described. The tool is designed as a web application simplifying the certification process from the point of submitting the application to the passing the examination. This tool provides a configurable system of the electronic tests and examinations, which can be customized to the requirements of various certifications.

Methodology and Software Support for Risk Management in Projects

This master's thesis deals with the area of risk management in project management. The aim is to create a complex risk management methodology and a functional prototype of the system that complements and supports it. The methodology is based on the fundamental principles of these areas and the analysis of currently used project and risk management approaches in practice. Selected were PRINCE2, Agile Approach and ITIL. The advantages of the methodology are its complexity, no bound to any standard but based on methodology's positive  features. Based on the methodology, a web application for management and visualization of projects and risks has been developed and supports work with it.

This bachelor's thesis delas with the process of project management in selected company and based on analysis of its current state defines requirements for project tools by which the process can be supported. Using a decision matrix that compares available commercial tools with respect to the defined requirements, the most suitable tool is then selected. While quantifying the costs and evaulating the benefits, the chosen solution is recommended for implementation.

The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the project management in the manufacturing company. At first the theoretical basis, is established, principles, themes and processes of the PRINCE2 defined. In the analytical sector the company is introduced, and the course of contract, based on project management perspective, is analyzed. Also, based on comparison, the differences between the current state and the approach of PRINCE2 are registered. Finally, the results of the analysis are applied for suggestion of changes, whose should be applied, to make project managed by the PRINCE2 methodology.

There are described the basic features of the methodology, which are major benefits for the project management. On practical preparation is demonstrated the possibility of adapting the methodology on a practical elaboration to the specifics of a certain project and there are attached the drawn up project documents.

The analytical part describes the situation in company A.S., its corporate structure and the methodology used by management. The practical part follows the previous chapters, describes project management according to the chosen methodology and the results are interpreted both in terms of project success and as compared to the existing methodology.
